Youth Ministry
 
Youth in the barn has played a big part of the Church's ministry into the community. We have always had a heart to reach young people for Christ and to help them in their jouney into adulthood with all its temptations and struggles. We started fourteen years ago and thousands of young people have come to the youth club in that time. We have always had a ministry to the skaters in the town and we built our own skatepark and set up many skate competitions. We now meet the the young people at the skatepark with out modified trailer. With its sound system and projection screens it usually draws a crowd and the young people look forward to us going on a friday night. 
 
From September untill April the youth club is held at Wetheriggs Zoo and activities include skateboarding, games consoles on the big screen, Pool, Table-tennis, dodgeball etc. The Cafe is always open and the great team of leaders are always there to listen to any issues and show the love of God. We always have a group talk and discussion with video clips and hands on exercises not unusual. With many of the young people not coming from Christian homes we always share the gospel message with them in a variety of ways.
 
The is also a Youth in the Barn under 18 six aside fotball league. Every game starts with a prayer and an encouragement to be honest and fair during the game. It is a competitive league open to all the presentation at church is always encouraging. The qualified referees tell us that it is a joy to officiate the games as there is a good atmosphere about them.
 
Trips: Every year we have a number of bus trips. Skate parks, Iceskating and a Soul Survivor are our regular destinations.
